Canvax yeast-derived recombinant human serum albumin (rHSA) is a highly purified, Animal-Origin-Free (AOF) recombinant protein produced in Pichia pastoris. It is supplied as a ready-to-use 20% liquid solution.
This yeast-derived recombinant human serum albumin provides a defined alternative to plasma-derived human serum albumin, combining high purity, high monomer content and a controlled molecular size profile.
It is intended as representative R&D material for process evaluation before transition to GMP-grade supply. The corresponding GMP-grade version uses the same recombinant albumin platform and Pichia pastoris expression system. It also maintains the 20% liquid formulation.
